How we chose
We took series that have detailed Wikipedia pages and resemble Game of Thrones in some way: a war for power, a large cast of characters, magic or real history. The first two are prequels from the same world; the rest are separate universes. A series did not make the selection without an official trailer on the rights holder’s channel. We do not invent ratings, viewing figures or the word “best” as a judgment.
