To find anime in Ukrainian, look where the service itself states the language on the title card. On October 18, 2026, we opened the official pages of Netflix, Megogo, Sweet.tv, Kyivstar TV and Takflix, as well as the Crunchyroll help page, and recorded only what they say. Catalogs change, so this is a snapshot as of the check date, not a guarantee. We do not list pirate sites: below there are only services with official pages.
Dubbing, voice-over or subtitles: what exactly you are looking for
“In Ukrainian” can mean three different things, and services label them differently.

Where to look: services we checked
Netflix
The Netflix page for Ukraine directly names anime among what the service offers, and the catalog has a separate “Anime” section. We opened 15 cards from it: “Hunter x Hunter”, “Princess Mononoke”, “Spirited Away”, “VINLAND SAGA”, “PLUTO”, “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” and others. Ukrainian subtitles are listed for 14 of the 15.
Among the titles we checked, only one has a Ukrainian audio track: the film “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle”. It has no Ukrainian subtitles, but it has the sound. So on Netflix, mostly count on subtitles.
Megogo
The “Series” menu has an “Anime” item: the selection is described as stories about adventure, feelings and fantasy worlds. The title card has “Translation” and “Subtitles” fields. The selection that opened on October 18, 2026 had 28 titles, including “Okko’s Inn”, “Paprika”, “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” and “Scarlet”. For 27 of them the “Translation” field names Ukrainian; for one (“Zinba”) only English.
The field does not say whether it is dubbing or voice-over. The access method is also shown on the card: some titles are by subscription, others are for purchase.
Sweet.tv
Anime is not mentioned on the home page, but the “Animated films” page has a selection “From Outcast to Icon: Anime About Growing Up” and the series “Naruto” (2002). The “Naruto” card lists the country (Japan), the episode length (24 minutes) and a “Watch for free” button; check the terms of free viewing on the service. Sweet.tv itself advises checking the sound and subtitle languages on the card and choosing the audio track before watching.
Kyivstar TV and Takflix
On the home page and the “Series” page of tv.kyivstar.ua we did not find the word “anime”; there are sections “Series”, “Films” and “Animated films”. Whether the title you need is there, and in which language, can only be found by searching in the app. Takflix describes itself as an online cinema where you can legally watch Ukrainian films, and anime is not mentioned on its home page.
Crunchyroll
The Crunchyroll help page explains that some titles are not available in every country because of licenses, and the sound and subtitle languages are shown in the “More Details” section on the show’s page. Ukraine is not named in the help material we viewed, so we cannot confirm either availability here or Ukrainian subtitles.
How to turn on Ukrainian
On Netflix this is done during playback. The steps are taken from the service’s help page:
- Start the series or film.
- Bring up the menu: on a phone, tablet or computer, tap the screen or click with the mouse; on a TV, press the down or up arrow on the remote; on Apple TV, swipe up.
- Select “Audio & Subtitles”. On a TV, the option may be at the bottom without an icon.
- Choose Ukrainian from the suggested languages, or press “Other” to see all the languages of this title.
If Ukrainian is not there, the help page names five reasons: country, profile settings, the title itself (licensing agreements), the device, or the season. Browse the catalog by language on the pages netflix.com/browse/subtitles and netflix.com/browse/audio. On Megogo, subtitles are turned on in the player settings, and the languages are listed in the title description; some subtitles (so-called forced subtitles) cannot be turned off. On Sweet.tv, the audio track is chosen before playback starts.

Tip. Before subscribing, open the card of the title you need and find the languages field. If Ukrainian is only in the subtitles and you need the voice-over, check the same title on another service.
Frequently asked questions
Is there Ukrainian voice-over for all anime on Netflix?
No. Among the 15 cards in the “Anime” section that we opened, one had a Ukrainian audio track, and 14 had Ukrainian subtitles.
How does dubbing differ from voice-over?
According to Sweet.tv, in dubbing the original language is fully replaced with Ukrainian, while in voice-over the original is lowered and a Ukrainian track is laid over it.
How do I find anime in Ukrainian without piracy?
Start with the cards on legal services: Netflix and Megogo show languages right on the title page, and Netflix also lets you browse the catalog by language.
Why does the language reset on Netflix?
The Netflix help page explains that subtitle settings usually are not saved for most children’s titles when they are watched from an adult profile, but they can be saved from a kids profile. To lock in the audio language, play a title rated “Teens” or higher for 2–3 minutes and select the language you want.
Can you watch Crunchyroll in Ukraine?
It depends on licenses and the country. In the help material we viewed, Crunchyroll does not name Ukraine, so before paying check the card of the show you want and the subscription terms.
