A young woman, Kimberly, has a premonition of a huge highway pile-up and blocks the road, saving several drivers. But Death does not give up, and the survivors begin to die in freak accidents. She has to find a way to defeat it. David R. Ellis directed the direct sequel to the first film, and Ali Larter returns, joined by A. J. Cook and Michael Landes. Filming took place in Vancouver and at Okanagan Lake, and the film was released on 31 January 2003.
